TURVILLE WOODLAND WALK
We love this walk as it has great views and a mix of woodland for climbing trees/finding the best sticks and open fields to enjoy the beautiful countryside.
On this particular day after finishing the walk back in Turville village, we went up to the windmill to all sit down and watch the sunset whilst the kids enjoyed a well earnt snack.
NEED TO KNOW
Parking: easy free parking anywhere in Turville village (although I suspect it could get busier on the best weather for walking days)
Distance: Approx. 2 miles. We took a couple of hours to do this route with children aged between 4 and 8 although we spent a lot of time with the kids climbing trees and generally not always travelling in the right direction!
Buggy/scooters: not for this walk. It’s a longer walk so not ideal for the littlest legs.
Pit stop: the Bull and Butcher in Turville village is a lovely traditional pub with open fires and beer garden for the summer. It gets busy so best to book particularly if you fancy a sunday roast.
