MARLOW BOTTOM WOODS
There is a stretch of woodland that sits between Marlow and Marlow Bottom. These are great for exploring with interesting trees to climb, a fab rope swing, fields and great spots for blackberry picking when they are in season. On the map below I’ve suggested one route but you can make this walk as long or as short as you want it to be. It’s fairly easy to pick your way through the woods making your own path as the woods are not vast enough to get totally lost!
NEED TO KNOW
Distance: as short or as long as you like – but to get to the rope swing point on the map it’s perhaps half a mile.
Parking: if you can’t walk here, there’s easy on road parking near the junction of Gypsy Lane and Hillside road in Marlow.
Scooters/Prams: not really… it’s a woodland walk.
Pit stop: we haven’t done one on this route.. but Da Luca’s Italian in Marlow Bottom could provide a food option.
