This family walk is a short one ideal for little legs that can’t travel too far but the Thicket itself has more walks that you can explore. See the picture of the map below.

Park in the Butterfly Trail car park in Pinkney’s Green, cross over the A404 on the footbridge and follow the path through the Thicket. When the ground is not too wet this route could be done with a pram/push chair but none of the surfaces are paved, so maybe best with something that travels off road ok.

The route is less than  a mile long but Stubbing’s Nursery itself makes a nice point of interest to get to. They have a small outdoor play ground and a walled garden to look around plus a lovely cafe.

You can travel back on the same route you came or venture off the main path to pick your own way back through the thicket.
