LITTLE MARLOW SAILING CLUB WALK
There are several routes you can take starting from the Spade Oak Car park in Little Marlow, according to the length of walk you want to do. The map below shows a longer route but there is a cut through you can take to shorten it.
This route is nicest in the summer months as in winter it does get very muddy – as you can see on the day we did this walk!
NEED TO KNOW
Parking: easy free parking at the Spade Oak Car Park. This is marked on the map.
Time/Distance: The long route on the map is only about 2 miles but we managed to take nearly 2 hours to do it! Our boys loved playing by the river, getting stuck in the mud, finding the perfect gun sticks and goodness knows what else. It’s not really a 2hr walk!
Buggies/Scooters: Buggies in summer months only. In the winter the ground is very soggy and not suitable. It’s not really a scooter route either.
Hazards: This walk spends much of it’s time near water and it crosses the railways tracks twice.
Pit stop option – the Spade Oak pub makes a perfect pit stop. There is a small amount of outside seating for summer months and a lovely open fire in the winter months.
