HAMBLEDEN PHEASANTS HILL WALK
This family walk starts off in Hambleden village. You can park in the village itself or the car park next to the Stag and Huntsman. Note: this is now a pay and display car park.
The route begins travelling up a footpath following a long steep ish hill. Once you are up its down hill for the rest of the way and the views are worth it.
One thing to mention is the section on the map marked ‘private’. We accidently missed the footpath taking us across the field and stumbled onto the private land. A kind man directed us back to the footpath but he mentioned there is a game keeper who is not keen on people on his land.

Distance: just under 2 miles.
Parking: in the car park next to the Stag and Hunstman pub. This is now a pay and display car park.
Buggies/Scooters: not suitable on this route
Pit stop: The Stag and Hunstman Pub in Hambleden. A lovely traditional English pub with a large beer garden and open fires.
Highlights: views over the valley, trees to climb, lovely country pub to finish in.
