It’s sometimes hard as a parent of young children to get time off to get fit. Thankfully there are lots of local fitness classes and many of them welcome you to bring your child along. Here’s a run down of some of the local options.

Pilates, Yoga, Barre
You can practise Pilates with Adelle in a beautiful riverside setting. She holds a mother and baby class as well as general classes.
Barre Sculpt combines the principles of Ballet, Pilates and Yoga. It is a low impact class using Isometric movements to target deep into the muscles and are suitable for all fitness levels. Emma teaches a range of mum and baby classes and general classes throughout the week.
Leo Yoga is a boutique Yoga Studio, offering Yoga, Meditation, Pilates and Barre. Our Yoga Studio is set inside the vibrant Leo Gym. They offer a PAYG and membership options.
Go Figure personal training offers all types of personal training as well as specialist pre natal and post-natal classes specifically designed for new mums with their babies. The classes are held in Maidenhead during term times. Bookable by the term.
Transform and tone your body with the ultimate, celebrity-endorsed reformer Pilates workout. You can book in for an intimate group session at the Marlow boutique studio where your first lesson is free and then you can either PAYG or buy blocks of lessons.

Mummy & baby Yoga classes specifically tailored to you and your baby. Focusing on safely rebuilding core strength, stabilising the pelvis and lower back, releasing tension in shoulders and neck, boosting energy levels and and and sense of relaxation. Jen also does yoga classes for all.
Experienced instructor, Claire Hindley, teaches a range of group classes, small private lessons for you and friends and also offers one to one instruction.

General Fitness and Bootcamps
Their camps are mixed male and female and range in fitness levels across 45 minutes. You are able to take your kids along to many of their classes.
FitWorks | Marlow
The team at Fitworks training run a variety of classes in various nearby locations and online. They also run a BuggyFit class for mums with young children who want to get active.
Rory Gibbs| Marlow
Rory is a qualified PT, Online Coach and Olympic Athlete. When he’s not training, he’s Coaching. Over the last couple of years he has focused more on women’s fat loss and healthy lifestyle changes, including personalised nutrition plans, workout programs, educational lessons and weekly check-ins.
A variety of daily workouts to include circuits, teamwork, boxing. All classes are indoors and children are welcome. The ‘community’ aspect of the classes is just as important as the training itself.
JacJam offers upbeat group exercise classes that are suitable for all levels of fitness and are Pre and Post Natal Safe. There are specific ‘Family Jam’ classes that children are welcome at but also other bootcamp style classes if you want some ‘me time’ away from the kids.
Sweaty Mama | High Wycombe
Sweaty Mama is the unique and effective way to workout whilst bonding with your little one. A mixture of cardio and muscular strengthening exercises to help build up your fitness gradually. In a safe and relaxed environment.

Gyms and Clubs
This is Marlow’s biggest gym that has, well, everything you would expect from a high end gym including a pool, steam room and sauna.
Leo is a high end, boutique Crossfit gym. It has a range of classes including a Wonder Woman sessions for women only.
With membership options to suit everyone, Court Garden is a great choice if you’re looking to get active. They host a full range of classes, have a recently refurbished gym and you can also use their pool.
Despite the name saying otherwise, Crossfit Wycombe is actually in Bourne End. It’s a large and well established Crossfit gym that offers a range of classes including bootcamps known as ‘Engine’ workouts and gymnastic skills.
The Wild Training Gym and CrossFit M40 deliver something for everyone with a team of passionate, experienced coaches that can deliver and has been voted the best independent gym in the UK. CrossFit M40 is a brand new fully affiliated CrossFit gym with loads of equipment and more training options than you will find anywhere else.
They hold mum and baby classes, ladies only classes and a huge range of workouts to keep you busy!
Marlow Striders was founded in 1989 and has evolved in to a thriving running club with over 250 members of all ages. Whether it’s serious running you’re looking for, steady exercise, or motivation to just get started then Marlow Striders is the club for you.

Offering a full gym and a range of different group exercise classes, The Redgrave Centre is a great option if you’re looking for a gym membership that won’t break the bank. As the centre is part of Great Marlow School, opening hours are out of school hours.
