Wellington Country Park is a great park for kids only half an hour or so from Marlow. There are loads of interesting attractions and things to keep children entertained for a full day. Its best enjoyed when the sun is shining (like anywhere!) but there is also an indoor soft play area.

Here’s some of the things you’ll find there:

Multiple adventure play areas
Slide, swing or climb your way around the adventure play areas and trails. A full assortment of play equipment including a giant zip wire and balancing beams.

Toddler play areas
There are a number of places within the park designed especially for toddlers. 

Animal Farm and Petting Barn
Take a walk to the Animal Farm to visit all your favourite farmyard friends. You can see Shetland ponies, donkeys, sheep, chickens rabbits, pigs, goats, and Alpacas. You can also feed the goats and sheep.

Giant Jumping Pillow
Always a fave. This attraction has a height limit of 1.2m, so it is only available to smaller visitors

Snakes and Ladders
Climb any of the ladders to the top of the hill to see the beautiful views of the Park. Then, choose from a selection of slides and enjoy the thrill as you hurtle down.

Sand and Water Play and Diggers
Large sand pit and water play area.

Indoor Soft Play Area
Indoor play area designed for those aged 2 and under only.

Miniature Railway
The miniature train is named after the Duke of Wellington’s grand-daughter, ‘Charlotte’, she will gracefully take you on an exciting trip through our woodlands. See how many animals you can count on your journey! The train generally operates daily, but this can vary depending on weather conditions. Please check prior to your arrival for the operating times. Please note that an additional fee applies.

Mini Golf
Pick up your clubs from the admissions desks. Please note that a £10 deposit is required for up to 6 clubs.

Welly Wheels
These automated jeeps are for children aged 4-10 years. Watch as they drive themselves around on the woodland track. Please note that Welly Wheels is subject to weather conditions and that an additional fee applies.

Open 9:30am until 4:30pm in winter and 9:30am until 5:30pm in summer. Open February through to November but please check their website around these cut off dates for precise info.

Prices

Prices vary by season but its approx £10 for an adult and £8 for a child in high season. Check out their website for accurate pricing and concessions.

The MarlowMum’s verdict: we always love visiting Wellington Park and would highly recommend it families with pre-schoolers and primary age children. There is so much to enjoy, it’s always offers a great day out.
