Mill Meadows Henley

Mill Meadows is the name of the lovely Henley playground and park near the town centre which is over looks the River Thames. There are two play grounds, one more traditional metal equipment and rubber matting flooring style and the other a wooden adventure playground with zip wire.
The playgrounds themselves are set amongst some landscaped gardens and next to the River Thames, making it all very pretty.
From the park you can walk along the tow path next to the Thames if you fancy an amble. Ideal for push chair (less so for toddlers!).
We used to love joining this trip in with a trip to the River and Rowing museum. The permanent and much loved Wind in the Willows exhibition offers a lovely indoor option when the weather is unreliable! There is a fab cafe too!
