The Look Out & Discovery Centre

Visiting The Look Out is a great day out, with the main attraction being the hands-on science exhibition which has over 90 hands-on activities. The Look Out is set in 1000 hectares of woodland which is owned and managed by The Crown Estate. In addition to the indoor and outdoor play areas there is mountain bike routes, bike hire and Go Ape.
The fantastic adventure play area features an infant play trail which is suitable for younger children aged between 3 and 6 years old. The play area for older children aged 7 to 11 years old has a magnificent fort as its centrepiece. The all-ability play area is suitable for all ages and is wheelchair accessible. The tables and seating, which surround the area, are perfect for picnicking in fine weather.
The Look Out Discovery Centre has over 90 exhibits suitable for children of all ages. Toddlers and younger children love the indoor stream, mini supermarket and soft play area. Older children through to adults will be fascinated by the hands-on science exhibits and puzzles.

The charge for car parking is £2 per visit for up to four hours. Visitors who pay on the day to use the science exhibition at The Look Out Discovery Centre will receive a £2 discount from their entry price if they bring their parking ticket stub to reception at the time of purchasing their tickets. There are pay and display machines in the car park.
