Looking for a healthy family pudding? Try out this delicious nutrient packed watermelon sorbet

Watermelon is packed full of goodness, is low calorie and just bursting with vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin E and lycopene. Lycopene is a carotenoid – a powerful antioxidant that gives the watermelon it’s great colour too! Lycopene is important for heart health, helping to reduce cholesterol, male fertility- improving sperm quality and also in hydration.

Watermelon is great to reach for after a work out too as it contains the restorative amino acid l-citrulline. Packed with potassium watermelons help regulate nerve function- if you get night time leg cramps reach for a watermelon juice!

Ingredients:

5 large cups of frozen watermelon
Juice of 1 lime
2 spoonfuls of honey

How to make:

Place 5 large cups of frozen watermelon into a blender with the juice of one lime and 2 spoonfuls of raw honey, blend and freeze! Enjoy!
