Children’s Mezze

This Mezze bowl is a fantastic way to introduce your child to new foods they may never have tried before. It can also be adapted for an after school/pre-school ‘grazing bowl’, perfect for getting some veggies down when your child is super hungry!

This Mezze bowl is a fantastic way to introduce your child to new foods they may never have tried before. It can also be adapted for an after school/pre-school ‘grazing bowl’, perfect for getting some veggies down when your child is super hungry!

This is a top tip for fussy eaters or for introducing new food- create a colourful mezze!

Choose some fruit/veg that you know that your children like and then pick a few that they have not tried before or some that they are not sure about.

It is also fun as a snack when friends are around. Make a lovely healthy dip or two so that they dunk things in if they wish!

Homemade guacamole is a great one to try – get 2 ripe avocados peel and remove the stone. Mash the avocado up with a splash of lemon juice (add a small amount of chopped garlic if you wish) and serve.

Enjoy!
