It’s that time of year again. Time to think about where you will take the family to enjoy Bonfire night and a dazzling firework display. We are lucky that there are loads of great options to enjoy the fireworks in and around Marlow. Here’s a local run down to help you decide where’s right for your family this year.
Tue 5th November Danesfield House Hotel and Spa Spectacular Evening of Fireworks
Danesfield House once again open their doors to families and local residents of Marlow, Henley and surrounding villages for the annual Fireworks Night celebrations. Join them for a spectacular evening of fireworks, hot snacks and children’s entertainment.
Gates open at 5:30 and the show begins at 7:15pm. £5 of every ticket sold goes to the Child Bereavement UK. Find out more here. NOTE tickets must be booked in advance as they are not available on the door.

Cookham Dean Bonfire and Fireworks Party
Join in this family friendly event. A Family donation of £20 is suggested which you can give on the evening - no advance tickets are sold. There is Lantern Procession (lanterns can be purchased on the night) starting at 5:30pm. This is a smaller event ideal for younger children, as being smaller, it's not as overwhelming. You can park on the roads leading up to the green without too much trouble.

Marlow Bottom Fireworks
Burford School in Marlow Bottom will once again play host to the multi-award-winning Star Fireworks at 'Marlow Bottom Fireworks Extravaganza 2019'. Acclaimed as the best firework display around Marlow; always popular and often sold-out. Flackwell Heath Fireworks Displays - Little and Large
Flackwell Heath fireworks nights caters for smaller children as well as the rest of the family with 2 fireworks displays. Gates open at 6pm, bonfire is lit at 6:45pm and then there is a small pretty fireworks display for litten's at 7pm with the main louder fireworks display at 7:40. Beer, mulled wine, tea, coffee and hot dogs (inc. veggy) will be available to purchase on the night. Under 5s go FREE! Book tickets here

Marlow Monster Fireworks display
The Marlow Monster Fireworks Show 2019 takes place in the leafy grounds of Marlow Sports Club. Gates open at 5.30pm. Arrive early to try lots of free sports, plus a delicious BBQ, local beers, fine wines and music by Dave the Disco. Browse the mini village with stalls selling food, glow products, balloons, and more! Tickets bought in advance Adults £8, Juniors (5-17 year olds) £4 each, children 0 to 4 enter for free. Spinfield School Fireworks Extravaganza
Fireworks extravaganza on Monday 4th November at Spinfield School. Gates open at 5:30pm, Fireworks at 6:30pm. There will be a licensed bar, hot food and of course lots of things to excite the kids. Tickets £6 in advance for adults, £4 for kids. Find out more.

Foxes Piece Fireworks Night
BAR – RIDES – HOT FOOD/ DRINKS . The fireworks display at Foxes Peace School 2019 will again be provided by award winning local Sonning Fireworks ltd.

Cookham Scout Group Annual Bonfire Night
Gates open 5.30pm, Bonfire Lighting is at 6.00pm, fireworks at around 7.00pm. Hot dogs/refreshments, mulled wine. Tickets £5 in advance and £7 on the night. Wherever you choose to watch the fireworks remember to stay safe. Here’s 5 top tips to remember about the use of sparklers from the The Royal Society of the Prevention of Accidents.
- Make sure everybody who handles sparklers wears gloves.
- Never hold a baby in your arms whilst holding a sparkler.
- Remind your children how to be safe with a sparkler before giving it to them.
- Direct young children into a clear space not too close to their friends before lighting the sparkler.
- Always light sparklers one at a time and use them one at a time – never together
