Halloween Events and Activities around Marlow
Whether you love it or hate it, October 31st returns and with it our children’s excitement levels rise with the prospect of more sugary sweets in one night than they are likely to get for the rest of the year!
To get yourselves in the mood and keep the kids busy this half term, here are some of the Halloween activities on offer in and around Marlow this year.

Wednesday 19th to 30th October: The Mood Witch’s Halloween Adventure at Tumblestone Hollow
Follow the clues around the mysterious world of Tumblestone Hollow and the Gardens at Stonor to win a special chocolate prize (or an alternative treat). Folk of Tumblestone Hollow will be reading stories from ‘The Moon Witch and The Thief’ and giving away spooky temporary transfers. There will be pumpkins galore and ghoulish surprises.

Saturday 24th Oct to Sunday 1st Nov: The Marlow Bottom Scarecrow Trail
After the huge success of last years trail the scarecrow trail returns! Grab a map, make a donation and check out all the fabulous scarecrows dotted around the streets of Marlow Bottom.

Saturday 22nd to Sunday 30th October: Cliveden Halloween Trail
Head along and get the family swept up on an autumn adventure on this new scarecrow trail. Explore the grounds as you find scarecrows made by local community groups. Finish up at the craft tent to make your own bamboo spoon scarecrow.

Monday 24th to Saturday 29th October: Spooky fun at Chai and Cocoa soft play Maidenhead
Looking for some spooky fun during half term? Chai and Cocoa in the centre of Maidenhead have a jam packed week planned, with something for everyone! From the daily Halloween Disco in the Cocoa Cub space, to craft sessions for different age groups at various times through the week, and a super special themed sensory session for our tiny Cubs

Thursday 27th October: Halloween Party at The Little Gym Handy Cross
The Little Gym at Handy Cross are excited to host a Halloween party!
Scary games, spooky sweets, trick or treat, magic potion making, STEM activity & a party bag full of Gruesome Goodies
This is taking place on Thursday, 27th October from 2 to 4pm for 3-12 year olds. £25 per child – Parents drop off and pick up .

Friday 28th October: Halloween Workshop run by Canvas and Clay Art Club
Get involved in Pumpkin carving (or painting!) Crafting lanterns for Trick or Treating Making haunted house decorations. Canvas and Clay have 3 workshops running in Marlow & Beaconsfield for children aged 18 months – 12 years. Spaces are limited so book early to avoid disappointment!

Friday 28th October: Random and Rocks Halloween Show at Braywick Leisure Centre
This show is ideal for families with kids under 8years. Lots of fun games, challenges, prizes, competitions, dances and it may get messy with silly string & slime! Fancy dress optional, table seating with a few rows of theatre style seats. Tickets £9 per person (inc adults), 3yrs and under free.

Friday 28th and Saturday 29th October: The Black Lion Bourne End presents Kids Halloween
It’s Halloween Weekend at the Black Lion in Bourne End! Lots of different events and food for the whole family to enjoy. Costume Party, American food, kids arts and crafts and lots more. Win prizes and treats – they promise no tricks!

Saturday 29th October: Spooky Concertini at Norden Farm
Looking for something spooky? Well look no further! Concertini are hosting a Halloween themed concert with Jonny and the Raindrops. There will be plenty of spooky songs as the band’s music is brought to life. Johnny and the Raindrops promise to get the audience moving, grooving, and shaking this half term. You can even wiggle along with the five Halloween worms and meet the monster with twelve belly buttons!

Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th October: Pick your own pumpkin in Hughenden
Let the kids run free around the Magnolia Park Pumpkin Patch and choose their perfect pumpkin! In addition there is a spooktacular Trick or Treat trail with a gift for each child (pre book only £3.50), facepainting and Halloween arts and crafts.

Join ‘Mary Shelley’ and chums in Marlow Library for an atmospheric evening celebrating Marlow, Mary and all things spooky! Expect monstrously macabre meanderings, spooky songs and spine chilling stories. Suitable for those over 12 years of age. Tickets include refreshments! If arriving by car, may we suggest that you make use of Institute Road car park nearby, which is free after 7pm!
