Can you believe the Easter holidays are fast approaching? Aside from planning the chocolate, we thought you may like some inspiration for getting the kids out and about…
With two weeks to fill (yikes, try not to think about that) we wanted to give you some options of fun things to do with the kiddos. Easter and beyond, sanity restored…a little.
1. Stoner Park – Easter Trail 9th – 24th April
Stonor Park opened to the public a few years back and since then it has been continually improved and extended. It’s about 20mins away out toward Henley. It feels like a national trust park, but it’s actually privately owned by the Stonor family. The play area has been extended significantly in recent years to include a large natural wood play structure set amongst the trees. Kids love the sand and water play and there are beautiful walled gardens to explore. Entry is about £25 for a family of 4 plus car parking charges.
How to get tickets: Stonor is running a special Easter trail called ‘Tumble Stone Hollow’ which requires booking in advance but guarantees a refund in the event of cancellation. Adults are £9 and children over 105cm are £11.50. Children 92cm – 105cm are £9.50. Children under 92cm go FREE!
2. Hobbledown Adventure Farm
This is a fantastic day out for all the family. Hobbledown is roughly 50 minutes from Marlow heading south around the M25 near Chessington. The journey is well worth it as there is so much to see and do. The park is themed around the Hobbledown children’s book, a fantastical and magical book about Hobblers battling with Skibblers! There are so many fantastic and novel things to explore at this adventure park that it’s better to take a look at it than to try and describe it. A family of 4 entry costs around £70. A bit punchy but worth it for a special day out.
How to get tickets: You can book in advance up to a maximum of 6 tickets at one time. Annual Pass members are not charged. £14 per person and under 2’s are FREE.
3. Willows Activity Farm – Easter Eggstravaganza – 2nd – 18th April
