Under the Canopy Forest School aims to provide an inspiring process for learners of all ages. Forest School takes place outdoors, in a woodland environment near Gerrards Cross, which encompasses a woodland, a dell and a meadow with a wide array of wildlife, flora and fauna. Forest School is a long-term learning process which should comprise of at least six consecutive sessions. It utilises hands-on opportunities outside the structure of an indoor classroom, to develop independence, self-esteem and emotional resilience, among other skills.
